Oia village at Santorini.

 

The famous village of oia (Ia), located on the north side of Santorini, on the cliffs of Santorini's caldera. The village is known for its view of the Caldera and the romantic sunsets.With small traditional cave houses that are built into the side of the cliffs of Santorini.

 

If you choose to go to the village, you can go from Fira, passing from Imerovigli north of the capital of Santorini, twenty minute route by car that will surprise you.

 

Oia is a must visit place when you are on the island and one of the most picturesque villages in Greece.Beautiful pictures with Blue and White colours and and red magical colors during the sunset.

 

Many stepped streets with plenty of tourist shops.There is a about 300 steps leading down from Oia to the bay of Ammoudi and Armeni little beach. There, you will find some nice traditional taverns with frish fish and the boats at Amoudi port can take you to Thirassia island.

 

You can stay in one of the many hotels in Oia, or in the suites in Oia with a private pool, and enjoy the wonderful sight of the caldera in one of the few Cafés or restaurants are that are built on the rocks overlook the volcano of Santorini and all the small or large cruise ships located at the bay.
